It’s been 5 months since I moved out from my mother.
I’ve started living in a nice apartment in Msida, quite close to home with a lot of amenities nearby. The place is huge; large bedrooms, a bathroom and spare toilet and an incredible living area. Unfortunately, at first I did not see the cons of this apartment.
- The rent is too expensive – I’m trying to save money!
- We’re on the forth floor with no lift.
- Parking is a big problem.
- The apartment is next to a primary school. There’s too much noise in the morning.
- In summer it’s too hot and in winter it’s too cold.
Few days ago my flat mate found a maisonette in Birkirkara at a phenomenal price.
It is not as nice as the current apartment, but we’re on the ground floor, parking doesn’t seem to be a problem and the rent is way cheaper!
Hopefully by next week I will move everything and have internet access in the new place.
I will post some photos as soon as we settle things.
